EXCELLENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE: The Clerk’s Domestic Relations Division received a wonderful call from a customer who wanted to thank the Clerk’s Office, specifically Delilah, who helped the customer with a name change.  She said Delilah called her out of the blue today, and asked her if she still wanted a copy of her Final Decree which the Clerk’s Office been holding for her awaiting payment.  She asked Delilah if she could read to her the Final Decree to see if it stated her name change from married to birth name (the individual was adopted and was about to reopen her adoption case to retrieve sealed documents indicating her birth name).  Delilah read her the Final Decree and informed the customer that her name change was granted changing back to her birth name.  The customer stated that Delilah saved her probably hundreds of dollars in additional fees just by making a call.  The customer was elated and very appreciative - not only by the news but by how sincere and pleasant Delilah was over the phone.  Now the customer will be able to obtain her real ID with the paperwork Delilah diligently followed up on with a simple telephone call.

This is not the first time Delilah has received a compliment for her calming, friendly demeanor over the phone.  Not so long ago, a senior citizen by the name of Esther complimented Delilah on how efficient and friendly she was after retrieving Esther's request and calling her back the same day.  Esther was overjoyed with Delilah's efficiency and was extremely appreciative.
