UNM-BTAC Is Now the Central Repository for All Things BHRIA

We’re pleased to announce that the University of New Mexico’s Behavioral Health Technical Assistance Center (UNM-BTAC) now serves as the central, go-to repository for all resources, updates, and information related to the Behavioral Health Reform and Investment Act (BHRIA), also known as Senate Bill 3 (SB3).

As New Mexico’s 13 behavioral health regions continue implementing their regional plans, stakeholders, providers, community members, and partner agencies can now find everything BHRIA-related in one place, including:

  • Regional Plans & E-SIM Reports — Enhanced Sequential Intercept Mapping results and prioritization workshop summaries for each of the 13 behavioral health regions
  • Meeting Materials — Agendas, minutes, and presentations from BHRIA Executive Committee and regional stakeholder meetings
  • Technical Assistance Resources — Guides, tools, and support materials for regions navigating implementation
  • Policy & Legislative Updates — The latest on SB3, Behavioral Health Service Standards, and Evaluation Guidelines
  • Monthly Progress Reports — Ongoing updates from the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), Health Care Authority (HCA), and UNM-TAC
  • Contact & Feedback Channels — A single point of access to submit questions, join mailing lists, and connect with your region’s stakeholder committee

Consolidating this information reflects UNM-BTAC’s core role: serving as a centralized, university-based resource supporting BHRIA implementation across the state. Whether you’re a regional stakeholder, provider, policymaker, or community member, the centralized site is designed to be your first stop for accurate, current BHRIA information.
