The Family Representation Commission ended December of 2022 following the realization of its goals through the creation of the adjunct executive agency “The Office of Family Representation and Advocacy”. The Family Representation Commission was initially established by the Order of the New Mexico Supreme Court on October 23, 2020 and its dedicated members helped initiate changes to improve the quality of legal representation provided to children and parents in abuse and neglect cases. Prior to its conclusion the materials and information gathered by the commission was transferred to the OFRA Oversight Commission.
